About Project Cargo Network

Project Cargo Network (PCN) is a world-leading organisation for heavy lift and project cargo specialists, proudly headquartered in the UK and founded in August 2010 by Rachel Crawford. With 350+ specialist companies across 110+ countries, PCN has grown into one of the most respected global networks in the specialist logistics sector.

PCN membership is earned — not simply given. Only companies with proven expertise in handling full-scale project cargo and heavy lift shipments are accepted, and every member undergoes a rigorous annual Evidence Audit and Quality Control Survey. The network achieves an outstanding 95% annual renewal rate, reflecting the strong relationships and tangible results it consistently delivers for members.

PCN members handle the transportation of oversized, heavy, and complex cargo across sectors including energy, mining, infrastructure, petrochemical, construction, oil and gas, and automotive — providing individual transport planning for every specialist shipment. The network's online training programme has been adopted by DHL, Kuehne+Nagel, Bertling Logistics, DB Schenker, and DSV Panalpina.
