Cargo Connections is an independently owned global freight forwarding network founded in 2014 by Rachel Crawford. With 94 members across 50+ countries, it focuses on responsible, sustainable growth, targeting emerging markets and vacant territories while capping membership per country to protect exclusivity and member value.
All prospective members are vetted by references before joining. The network has built a strong reputation for financial stability, underpinned by a Payment Monitoring System that encourages prompt invoice settlement and adherence to the membership rules.

Cargo Connections runs a Payment Monitoring System to keep the network financially stable. Members are expected to settle invoices promptly and follow the membership rules, which the network reports has given it an excellent record of financial security. There is no formal freight protection fund; the network's community standards act as the practical safeguard.

Cargo Connections' 2027 Annual Assembly is at the Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort in Thailand, with two days of pre-arranged 1-2-1 meetings and evening social events.
